Training Courses and Workshops
Which ways are there to measure discharge? Where are the advantages and disadvantages respectively the limits of different measurement systems? How to perform a discharge measurement with the tracer dilution method? This and further topics of hydrometry are covered by our regular workshops and trainings. Our experts train the correct usage of our products and devices. Practical measurements in the field are a major focus for the training agenda, because theory and practical application should be trained in balance.
- Under "Training & Workshops" we regularly release detailed information and dates for the latest offered courses.
- We also conduct trainings according to our customer's wishes. If requested also at your premises. The costs are calculated on individually.

Individualized Rental Device Service
For specific measurements, to get aquainted with the measuring equipement or for evaluation of different water bodies SOMMER offers the possibility, to aquire devices and components (e.g. TQ-Tracer, RQ-30 and RP-30) as a rental or loan device temporarily. The conditions are agreed upon individually, depending on the duration and demand of the rental devices.

Our Experts measure for you...
SOMMER offers qualified measuring services with different monitoring devices appropriate to the individual situation and as of the following systems. The scope of performance includes: evaluation of the measurement site, continuous or several temporary measurements, analysis and evaluation of the measurement data, composition of a measurement report as well as preparation of the measuring data (for example as Excel- or CSV file). Naturally the costs are calculated individually depending on the scope of work and the distance to the measurement site.
Measuring systems applied:
- TQ-Tracer-System
- Discharge measurement with Radar sensor RQ-30
- Mobile discharge measurement with Radar Profiler RP-30
- ADCP boat measurement (discharge, depth profile)
- Discharge measurement by use of FlowTracker (instead of current meter)
- Discharge determination with measuring weir and level sensor
