Due to the analogue, digital and serial inputs and outputs of the DFM data radio devices, full flexibility is guaranteed when the measuring signal data is transmitted. Regardless of whether the measuring signal is fed by the transmitter as an analogue or a digital signal, it can be issued by the receiver either as an analogue 4 to 20 mA signal or as a digital signal. This enables easy connection to all measuring systems. The individual products in the DFM range only differ among each other in terms of the number of inputs and outputs.
Depending on the transmission power and the terrain, ranges of several kilometres are possible, whereby the radio transmission is in the 433 MHz ISM frequency range. No additional official authorisations are required for operation.
An integrated supply and reference voltage enables the direct connection of sensors to the radio device. The sensors receive the supply voltage via the radio device. In this way, a remote measuring station can be realised cost-effectively with measuring systems located at different sites, with a central data recording system, and without additional hardware.
