All the best, Your SOMMER Messtechnik team.  The new MRL-7 perfectly completes the SOMMER data logger family The MRL-6, which was launched in 2016, has got a "bigger" brother. After only a short development time the MRL-7 enters the market: a new, very robust and weather-proof data logger with integrated remote data transmission. The acquisition, processing, storage and transmission of measured values as well as remote access via IP-call have thus become even easier. A number of advantages speak for the smart, new logger:
- Integrated 2G/3G (optionally 4G) modem for remote data transmission
- Optimised, very energy-saving operation ideal for data acquisition in environmental measurement technology and in the absence of any infrastructure
- Self-sufficient operation thanks to battery supply (with internal battery for the MRL-7B)
- Integrated solar charge controller - possibility to connect a solar module
- Weather-proof housing, temporarily immersible (IP 67)
- Backlit display, comfortable operation
- Interfaces: sensors via SDI-12 and RS-485; communication via RS-232, USB and Bluetooth
- Notification management (E-mail and/or SMS messages) for limit value exceeding/deceeding
- Compact, robust and reliable
Areas of application The new MRL-7 is particularly well suited for data collection and transmission in outdoor applications. Due to its powder-coated, watertight housing, no additional switch cabinet is needed. The robust logger is therefore the ideal solution in the fields of environmental monitoring technology and for remote, self-sufficient installations without a permanent power supply. | Snow-Pack-Analyser, system 2.0
New sensor generation with valuable improvements Increased ease-of-use and additional features such as improved connectivity for external sensors or the SDI-12 interface integration make the new SPA, the SPA-2, an even more valuable snow measurement system. The unique SPA strap sensor together with the control and analysing unit now provides even more reliable information on the condition of the snow pack and allows qualified forecasts on the expected water run-off during the snow melting process.
